Gate 2014 to Acquire Highly Paid Jobs

This is for those who are appearing for GATE examination this year. GATE official website announced the date for downloading the admit card. You can track your application status in for downloading the admit card, you have to go to respective zonal GATE websites.

What is GATE?

If you are not appearing for GATE due to eligibility criteria or may be planning to write in next year, before that let me give you some overview what GATE actually is? We all know about Indian institute of technology, (IIT). All seven IITs (Delhi, Bombay,Guwahati,Kharagpur,Kanpur,Roorkee and madras) along with Indian Institute of science(IISc) conducts this GATEexam yearly for testing comprehensive understanding level of students those who are undergraduate from engineering and science. Hence the name Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). This score is really a key point for screening purpose in public sector employment and for those who are planning to do their post-graduate programs.Each year, any one of these institute will organize the exam. This year, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur plays the role.       

        

Okay, now let us come back to the point!

Let us see how you can download admit card for GATE 2014.First,Visit GATE Online Application Processing System (GOPAS) website. Then you have to enter your Enrollment ID, Password and log in. which you got earlier while registering for the exam.New page will be shown to you where you see a link to download your GATE admit card. Now you have to save your admit card .take a printout copy and keep it safe because they won’t be sent to you by post or email.Carry this printout copy with you while appearing for the exam. Along with this link, you have to bring original photo identification ids from any of these as you entered while registering for the exam. It should have date of birth, residential address and signature. 

• Driving License, 
• Passport, 
• PAN Card, 
• Voter ID,
• Aadhaar UID,
• College ID,
• Employee Identification Card, or a Notarized Affidavit

When they say “original” they mean it! Because no photocopy or scanned copy of it is allowed and will not allow you to take the exam.
